I have a few short handle sledges. They don’t get used a lot but they are invaluable when needed.

Not the dikes, just a size indicator. The new style constant pressure hose clamps. Found on the Mustang demanded I purchase the tool. Needle nose, channel locks, or water pump pliers are no longer an option.

Can't go wrong with Knipex.  How is access to the clamps?

The tip (silver) rotates any angle, real slick.

The silver button on the side, press it slide and set the jaw opening, holding it fixed.

Found some NOS Quick-Grip welding clamps on ebay. They're some of the handiest things ever for fabricating because you can set them with one hand while fitting up.  It was a mistake they were discontinued years ago IMHO.

Get it while you can, PRATT-READ is sadly no more and I doubt Menards is going to source out another American OEM if they haven't already decided to go with imports.

So how's the quality of the Montana stuff ?
I've been meaning to dip my toes into their products.
