  A couple of thoughts

Gear-driven cams are more accurate, with a severe whining sound. One can hear a V8 gear drive car coming down the road 3 blocks away, very distinctive.

Chain-driven cams have their noise, both of these motors are 18-valve DOHC.

Not elusive today is holy and common my 32-valve, DOHC, fuel injected...... V8

5.0 Coyota
