Well, if you say a lie - or something idiotic - long enough and loud enough, then people will believe it.

But honestly, I thought the hex part of a screwdriver shank was for wrench use too, so..... :(
On the acetate handle.
The idiots are claiming the acetate handle itself is hexagonal so you can put a wrench on it.

George, I don't think he is talking about the hex bolster, just putting a wrench on the plastic handle

Weather was great on Saturday and we spent the day lounging in the porch and enjoying the fresh air. Ate our meals out there and in the evening we went out to dinner with our daughter. Easter Sunday the weather went to hell, and it was rainy, cool, and overcast all day. Not even the dog wanted to go outside.

It was still a good Easter. For many years I often wasn't home to celebrate major holidays and family events. Retirement has changed that, and it's fun being with the family on important milestones.

Good job Nick! I haven't split wood in a few years, but I do recall going through several pairs of split leather work gloves over the course of a day-long chopping and splitting session. Don't know if any leather glove will stand up to that kind of punishment for any extended period of time.

Well I'm about 2/3 done with my firewood project.  It's looking like it will be about 2 cord of split wood, maybe more.

Some of you have read my rant about leather gloves and how I have yet to find a pair that will stand up to something beside gardening or light lawn work.  Well...  after wearing the fingers out of my Milwaukee branded pair I ordered Wells Lamont Premium Leather work gloves from Amazon.

This is what they looked like after three days of cutting and splitting.  :91:

I ate to much ham then wished I hadn't when I had to help my youngest hunt eggs.

I've thought about Milwaukee push mower but the 1100 bucks stops me. The older I've gotten the more I hate small engines  :D I have a 18v Milwaukee leaf blower, works good but my Husky gas powered back pack blower is needed when doing fall cleanup. Think I  might get Milwaukee string trimmer. I already have Echo brush cutter but not great for string trimmer as its pretty heavy.

I got in here intending to do a Look what I got April Fools blab.  But was thinking that this past week, my lady here found a little box that slid off the end of the kitchen counter, inside were 5 black finish williams wrenches, and a blue point, all old.  Barely remember when I found them.  Then in the garage today I emptied a box, mostly junk but had a single Armstrong-Armalloy full polish combo end wrench.  Same series as I've decided to collect.  This makes 3 so far, might be another hiding out there.  Then as i was magnet hunting a tiny screw down below the bench vice , found a Craftsman hand plane, new in the box bought last summer, added to the stuff am taking to the MWTCA next weekend.  It had fell off the stool and hid in the shadows.  Finally after lunch was gathering tools to take to the garage that were accumulating in the laundry room, and about 3 layers down my old Snapon nut drivers emerged.  Had been wondering where they went, as we had been going over a pair of old JD riding mowers and could have used them.  My old secondary set is a mix and unmatched grouping, but am pretty happy the Snapons are back in the box.  So, no bs story, have a good April 1st.
