Cold bluing
« on: May 17, 2024, 11:51:02 PM »
While not as durable as hot bluing, after trying it on a couple of cheaply aquired, but old USA made 4" machinist parallel clamps,  I am sold! I took great care prepping the clamps prior to bluing them and was rewarded with clamps that are beautiful and now look like new!

Count me a convert. I plan to do a lot more of that in the future.

Bluing?
A finish on metal. Often used on gun barrels.

No pics UB?!
