I use this DAP Fast'N Final filler and it was ok as it came. It is supposed to stay put even over paint in wall dents. It was not great at that.
It dried over half a year and a brainfart hit me as it was next to the carpenter type white glue I keep in stock. Hmmm...

I used the glue instead of water to save it and mixed well. Gave it a shot using it to fill dents in plaster and hollows in the stucco and it stayed in place and had a more plastic property when applying.

Dry time is not affected and it withstands driving rains outside without paint.
Good stuff and better with a little fix. Give it a try.
