I have a mix of both battery and air.  Picked up a Snap on 3/8 battery impact on the cheap, fairly late model and that thing bad a$$.  And the weight and balance are real good too.

If I was turning wrenches for a living, I would have to go battery for the most used tools, and top quality ones at that.  I would likely go Milwaukee.

Cordless drill, 3/8 impact, 1/4 &3/8 ratchets and soldering iron.

Air 1/2 impacts, cutoff wheels and die grinders.

Would like to cut the cord and get the Milwaukee 90 degree die grinder one day.

My local TSC didn't have the new Channellock screwdrivers,  the shelves were almost empty and they didn't have much at all.

They did have this picquick combo for $10 though, and I've been wanting to check one of their drivers out.

In keeping with my need for small cutter pliers, I also added these import mini-cutters to the box this week. They're imported, but came in a 5-pack and I must say that I'm impressed with the feel and quality of the construction. They were on sale on Amazon for $13 (for the complete 5pc set), and for that price I took a chance. A damn  good deal for pliers that I mostly use for occasional electronics work.

Those look identical to the ones that came with a 3d printer I received as a gift.
It came with those, and the accessory pack that was bought separately came with a pair of Xuron knockoffs.
Both work and I haven't needed them enough to upgrade to pair od xurons.

No, just that I love my 100 plus screwdrivers so I'm happy that the new Chapman handles are so similar.
They're definitely not identical,  but close enough to put a smile on my face.

Another home run from the fine folks at Chapman, and they were even nice enough to send me a free keychain with my order.

I'll be making another order here soon, I need some of their long hex bits.
The problem is my case is already maxed out and I'm going to have to figure something out.

Today I received this 1960's Craftsman rebrand of the Vaughan sub zero super sportsman, and the handle I ordered directly from Vaughan arrived today too.

A lot of people want crazy money for these on Ebay because they think they're some kind of rare salesman sample or part of a child's tool set or something,  but their not.
They've been rebranded by Tru-Test,  Craftsman, LL Beab, palco, Bark river knives, and Best×Made co among many others.

Vaughan still makes them and I've bought 3 of the current production examples over the past 10 years.
Their a legitimate little hatchet that's surprisingly capable, and they still have the convex cheeks like proper American made axes used to have.

The handles need a lot of work to be appropriately sized for these little 8oz heads, but there's a good handle hiding in them.
I'll br finishing this one up tomorrow.

Here's the last 2 current V&B minis I did a few years back.

The front one in this picture I use all the time ( green painted head seen above ) and the other I gave my buddy.
