Tool buy from donations
« on: August 20, 2018, 02:33:38 PM »
I bought these tools out of a donation from the estate of a former member to our EAA (Experimental Aircraft Assn) chapter.
The wrenches are: CM Saltus and DOE, Williams, Plomb, Wizard, Plomb grind off, S-K Lectrolite, Par-X, Blue Point, Barcalo, 2 Meteor, Yankee driver PH #2 driver, S-K and Billings DBE and 2 other wrenches I already put in a box but forget what they were.

Sockets are: deep, Plomb, Proto, AC Spark Plug 7/8" which I needed, Cornwell, 4 Proto, SnapOn carb socket?, 2 Proto wobblys That were welded and I have no idea why they have holes drilled all the way through them, SO and CM wobblys .
The man who had owned these worked on his race cars and airplanes. I was honored to make a donation to our chapter and bring his tools to my home.

Some really nice tools there but even better you knew the owner. That is very cool.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

And those Yankee driver bits are not easy to find.
