When you show your best buddies, read the mind. Let us know what they are thinking

This is my boy Abraham. Snitch is the JRT behind him. Snitch came from the shelter. Abraham was bought from a back yard breeder along with the female they were breeding him with and one of their puppies. These two are among the 44 dogs at our sanctuary. A great many of our dogs are unadoptable or would be very difficult to adopt. The few adoptable dogs we have are being treated for heartworms so they can be adopted.

Abraham and Snitch are permanent residents.

Abby - our brown Lab, about 2 years old in this picture, now 10 and more grey, just like me.

He sleeps like that every day, on hardwood floor, on the bed, in his chair, wherever thats how he sleeps. Never seen a dog do that before

My best friend of the past 13 years, a 65lb blue nose pitbull named buttercup.

When I took this picture of Buttercup I had no clue I was going to loose her that December 1st, and things were pretty rough for me that 1st week.
She was the best friend I ever had and will always be remembered, we had 14 great years together and I only wish I could have been there for her 1st 2.

On the 10th of that December an unexpected opportunity arrived to get a new 4 legged best friend, I wasn't really ready but the purchase was made for me and a scared tired little bundle of joy that I named pepper showed up late that night.

Pepper is 3 now and has been a great companion.
