I think I actually remember the guy.

I made one post about a Husky screwdriver I was given and all of the sudden I get a PM from him " glad to finally meet another member who loves Husky tools as much as I do".
That seemed very odd to me, but I never witnessed anything else from him because I was too busy making a mess of things myself.

Muddy, I remember very clearly the pre ban drama after the SS issue and we were 'told off' by a mod that they had actually met CP with his parents and he was 'special needs'.

The whole thing was very odd.

It reminded me of my brother in many ways,  and I'm not joking either.
He's not quite special needs, but he's ADD ADHD and bipolar and sadly because most special ed kids he went to school with truly were special needs I don't believe he got quite the education he should have.

Chuck was a MACV-SOG  in Vietnam. I could easily see him seeking "high ground". He was also a law enforcement officer. That's one house I'd never want to enter uninvited.

thanks for the update. can't blame anyone for heading to high ground til things shake out. i am pretty fortunate that i can limit who i have contact with and for how long. i can't leave but i feel pretty safe here.

Mr Chuck was also a ranger/law enforcement for the feds and worked in the Sierras so he is right at home in the high country.
