Lol!

  I just looked at my boss' pile of backup ratchets and Truper has a dead ringer copy with Taiwan coo.   Surtek had one as well. 

  We never use them since the Facom ratchets grew in range.

  I suspect there is no connection between companies beyond using a -similar- design.

I was thinking it looked a little like a Proto but not quite. This is a 3/8 proto 5249 I bought in a set and I like due to it being the thinnest head 3/8 ratchet I have. It is a hair under 1/2" thick but due to the angle and close up the scale makes it look wider.

They must be producing quality products to be selected by Snap-On to make them.

Urrea copied Snap on but the Urrea gear, pawl and face plate are bigger and will not interchange
