Portable transmission bench --

I wasn't convinced about these things a few years ago, but when I saw the local autoparts shop offer this bench at a closeout I decided to give it a shot. Six years later, I can't believe how much aggravation this has saved. No more spills from working on the shop floor, no overflow runoff, no greasy floors, and forgetting where the parts went. Everything in it's place -- a great asset if you have the room.

It's on casters, so mobility is taken care of in a flash. The drain pan is easily removed for cleaning, and the 16ga metal construction makes for a very sturdy bench. In my shop, it often does double duty as a welding bench.

Looks good. I'm surprised you haven't scraped and burned all the paint off it yet.
