Navy Sailor Refuses To Stand For National Anthem - IMMEDIATELY Regrets It.
WRITTEN BY:DAVID MILLER

A former Navy intelligence specialist recently took a page out of Colin Kaepernick's playbook and refused to stand for the national anthem during morning colors. However, she quickly learned she'd made a huge mistake.

Conservative Tribune reported that Petty Officer 2nd Class Janaye Ervin was stripped of her security clearance and assigned to menial labor for a few days before she was forced to leave the Navy for disrespecting our country so blatantly.

It all started on September 19, when Ervin refused to stand for the anthem when she was on reserve duty at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii. The International Business Times reported that Ervin claimed she was trying to make a statement about blacks being persecuted in the United States by doing this.  "I just didn't want to stand at that moment," Ervin said "I can't stand for this song knowing that the song isn't for me, being black. The song doesn't represent me at all. To be honest, I never really thought about the flag my entire life, I had no reason to. It's just a flag."

The next day, Ervin's superiors read her rights and gave her a warning about potentially compromising her security clearance, which she needed for both her military and civilian job. One day after that, she was stripped of her security clearance and escorted out of the secure area where she was working.

Ervin is now claiming that she was never told which order she was violating, but this is clearly a lie since she violated the 10th General Order for Sentries,"...To salute all officers and colors and standards not cased....."which is taught in Navy boot camp.

All members of the Navy are required to memorize all 11 general orders in bootcamp, and they are aware that violating any one of them is subject to Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and is subject to whatever punishment is decided by court-martial.

On September 21, Ervin took to Facebook to publicly whine about how "unfair" this has been for her.  "The Navy has decided to punish me for defending the Constitution and has taken away my equipment I need to do my Naval job," she wrote, according to PopularMilitary.com.

Hey, Janaye, the Navy did not take ANYTHING from you... you forfeited your own job when you knowingly violated a general order.

SHARE this story if you think she got what she deserved...

This nonsense about blacks being persecuted is left wing brainwashing.  With her attitude, she never belonged in the military.

Agree with Galaxie. This racial discrimination thing is going to tear the country apart. Then it will be easier for the Communists to come in and mop up.

This black NCO is going to become real famous as every left wing wacko news agency and activist group will be clamoring for her to make an appearance. I hope she compromises some regulation about her security work - then she can find out what the inside of a jail cell looks like.

The story line had a september date. That puts it under the old regime. This new regime has probably already reinstated her and gave her a promotion.

Looks like they gave her an Honorable discharge and kicked her out.  There was a petition up wanting the Bummer to pardon her

I was under its legal requirements and protection for nearly 30 years.

Hope they stick to following the rules of law and not political pressure.

If this country is so racist then how did a " black " man with a muslim name get elected president twice ?
If this country is so horrible and racist why do so many people risk their lives to get here each year ?
If this country is so racist then why don't those who hate it just leave ?

If poor people from 3rd world country can find a way to get here some any black person who hates this supposedly " racist " country can afford to leave, especially if they sell all the cellphones and Nikes they stole in last years " peaceful protests ".

H&S, just remember that everything you post will be preserved for eternity and could possibly be found by a future employer. Believe what you want but just be careful on what you say and post online.

Not really Phil. Look at the videos. 99 percent of the looters were black. Literally! Is it racist to tell the truth? And the shame of it all was most of the looting and destruction happened in their own minority communities.

I wouldn't have said it the way he did but is he really that far off. His biggest mistake was using black in the last paragrah.

I'll agree that it may have been a bit strong but everyone has a right o their own opinions.
When you put up George Floyd types on a pedestal as a hero then you've associated yourself with that lifestyle. Then to have the looting to accompany that association just re-enforces that "all blacks " are thugs. even tho the biggest part of them are good people leading good lives, the mere fact they dont stand up and say "that aint us" is telling.

H&S needs to ease up on the MSM and right leaning fringes of it. They can be just as inflammatory as the left.

As I stated earlier, I use my eyes and ears to see whats affecting me and mine. The black guys I work with are all hard working family men sending their kids to college to live a better life. Same with the hispanic guys. The sorry ass worthless ones are all white kids. But I certainly aint gonna wrap all white kids up as worthless just because of these few.

Don't disagree that most of  the looters were black but H&S really painted the protesters with a broad brush implying all were looters.  I have to say something as that is wrong and racist.  We have the right in this country to protest peaceably and you shouldn't lump all the protestors in one group.

Being painted with a broad brush myself, I try to stand back and look at individual actions and seperate the bad apples from the group.

I am a professing Christian and have had many people tell me how they have been screwed over by Christians and consider all Christians to be the same.  well I have been screwed by Christians too but being a part of the group, I see how many good Christians there are and the fabulous things they do for others and know the bad ones are a small minority.  It sucks to be lumped in a group you don't belong just because you have something in common with them but not the bad attributes.

I find it sad and hard to believe H&S's post wasn't taken down.

One thing I find myself doing is moving more towards the center.  I am tired of the political fighting this country has sunken to and I blame both the far right and far left. Seems to be ample wingnuts on both ends of the spectrum

Phil, to address part of your comment, I don't know what the center is anymore.  If I state that I'm a conservative patriotic American who believes in God, family, and country, capitalism, the Bill of Rights (especially the 2nd amendment), the founding fathers, and that anyone can be successful in this country by working hard, etc, I would be classified as a right wing racist white supremacist, old man that doesn't recognize or understand his privilege who's out of touch with society by the average twenty year old, as well as the mainstream media.

I don't find it hard to believe at all.

That is exactly why I am tired of either extreme, there is no center ground if you listen to the hype.  I would describe myself quite similarly as you do yourself though I am more towards center then I used to be.

As to the media, you are correct but the right wing media says similarly disparaging things about the left and lump them all together too.  That is why I am tired of the fighting.  NOthing changes.  I don't want to be on either extreme.
