My prediction is the first 3 weeks of 2021 will have us fondly reminiscing about how 2020 was such a great year :lol_hitting:

What's January 23rd?
The day Nancy P hopes to take power  :lol_hitting:

My prediction
Trump will wins with wide gap in several states, but boxes of votes keep appearing (conveniently) but Trump still wins with a razors thin edge. The dems will cry foul and restart the impeachment process...............2016 redux.

I think the more immediate concern is Nov 3 & 4. After we get through that mess then we can think about Jan 23.

Still plenty of time for 2020 to get worse. Judging by this article the election BS will probably drag out. Results are gonna be late and lots of potential for lawsuits over late mail in ballots and some States allowing people who've got mail in ballots to also vote in person.........................

Also the wuhan flu is starting it's second wave. I won't be the least bit surprised if States start announcing new restrictions starting Wednesday.........

After elections would be the politically smart way to go. If its so important to have restrictions you would think they would do that now but no, they could give 2 shits about anything other than votes and power.

If the virus is spreading as bad as it is hyped up to be (yes I am cynical of the reporting, not the numbers as much as context) then something needs to be done.

As to  the politics of it all, I am getting numb

As to the question posted, on Jan 23, we will be a divided nation still with little hope of uniting the political sides

Usually at this time of year they are reporting the flu cases. I have not seen any of the flu statistics posted so I really question the numbers on everything. I was also under the impression that Nov. 4th is the day the Kung Flu would end. ::)

Haven't seen any msm hype so I dunno about that. The new cases and hospital capacity data don't look good.

CDC are still posting flu stats. Not really anything happening at this point. Flu in the southern hemisphere was also minimal this year. Seems some of the measures being taken to contain 'rona work very well on influenza.
