Sharpening stones

These stones seem to find me.   This has to be the nicest original box tho.  Compared to the  Millers Falls drill you see it is pocket size.  Unused dark grey stone.

I must admit i'm a whore for them myself.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Excellent find! Most folks would just toss these stones when they find them in old barns and shops. Around my area in DC you hardly ever find this type of old American tool accessory. Congratulations --

That’s a great find
MAGA

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

I got a few of those sharpening stones. I seem to make the knives duller when using them tho. I cant seem to keep a consistent angle when sharpening freehand. I use a Gatco product to sharpen my knives now.
