Interesting thing happened the other day.....

Snap on is promoting their new locking pliers. Made in USA and to the original vise grip patent, instead of the Irwin style.


Makes me wonder if snap in caught wind and malco is making them?

Those are Eagle grips, right now they're only available from Snap on.
I'm just waiting for the standard production to hit the market hopefully for less than $60 a pop but I think I'd be willing to pay that much at least once though.

Nice pliers I'm sure but I beat the crap out of vise grips, weld near and on them, they get abused. 80 bucks for them, no chance. Milwaukee has some China ones that are made for abuse, 10 piece set for 140 bucks. Are they as good, no, can you abuse them without worry, yes

$80 is pricey but they look nice. If the steel in the jaw teeth are tough like the old VG than it might just be worth it.

I'd have a hard time paying $80 for pliers that just dont get used that much around here.
