Homebrew garden tractor, taken by me 49 years ago.  Background is my 57 Chevy high school car.  Garage owner built the tractor from an IHC combine engine and lots of spare parts.  Taken in southern Illinois.

The first shot looks just like the Ford garage I first worked in.  Walls part brick, part block, and the hanging flourescents.   And no exhaust system.

Cool pics -- That Ford garage looks a lot like the place I started at in the early 70's. Oxy/Acet was the only economical choice back then for small shops welding sheetmetal. Spot painting was done in the last bay (closest to the door for ventilation ) and without an fan. Mechanical work was done in and around the body work area.

Nah -- hair is too short   :))  Back in my day most of the guys had longer hair -- it was the 70s after-all  ;)

Quite cool. Looks like they could make some pretty complex pulls with that. Wonder what kind it is.
