Seymour Smith
« on: September 26, 2018, 10:05:06 AM »
Hi, All!! I could swear I saw a post on Seymour Smith tools way back, search didn’t yield for me. Anyway; I finally cobbled together my cabal of tools. My dad worked there late ‘40’s-early 50’s in Oakville Connecticut...and these quality tools have been in constant use ever since!! The Seymour Smith vice-grip type pliers “Snap-Lock, are the best  I’ve used. Yes; that is a Sermour Smith brace, designed and patented by Bill Ruger of firearm fame. The garden tools speak for themselves...as they’re also still in use!! Hope you enjoy the pics!!

Welcome!

Pretty cool to have stuff with that connection and they are pretty cool tools. I really like that brace not seen one like that before.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

Very cool, thanks for sharing these awesome tools with us.
It's even cooler that your dad worked for the company that produced them.
Always lookin' to learn
