I picked up the following items at a garage sale today:
1. Craftsman 6" bench grinder no. 397.19330 1/3 hp. Missing the wheel guard and shield. Has stone / buffing wheel. I thought it was a block grinder , but I picked it up and it has a plastic housing. It would be nice to find a wheel guard and shield. I wont complain for $ 8.00.
2.Safety Grip Hammers from Ft Worth , Tx. no. 15 & 205 brass & nylon hammers. Well used but still some life in them.
3.Mixed letter & number stamp sets. Hoggson & AC Gibson co. inc Buffalo , ny. $ 2.00 ea.
4. Hands Off aluminum knob. Looks like a tubbing bender but its not deep enough and doesn't match the ones I have. Machine knob ??
5. Barcalo Buffalo 8" adjustable. marked- model N8 B8-14 . It looks like the adj. screw has been replaced. It works good.
6. Williams No. 1999 Multisocket dog bone wrench.

Some good finds.
If I didn't already own my block I probably would have picked up said bench grinder for $8.
I'm sure it's good for many quick things.

You walked away with your arms full! Well done.

Don't let Elroy get his hands on that Barcalo adjustable...he'll never give it back! :D

Cool haul. I want to know why hands is hand’s.

Is that dog-bone wrench supposed to be bent? or is it just the camera angle? The other end looks fine.

Don't recall seeing a Barcalo adjustable before. Pretty cool

I think some of those bone wrenches are bent like that.

I didn't notice it being bent until you noticed it. It looks like an offset wrench.
I've been finding more Barcalo adjustable wrenches around here as of late. I never picked them up before as I have a slew of adjustable wrenches. You folks seem to looking for them , so I grab them.

Ken, I finally dug out my dad's old bench grinder just like yours. I was using it several years ago before I brought my grinders here and when I went to turn it off the switch broke and fell inside and all I heard was plastic grinding and saw smoke coming out. I need to pull it apart and see if the damage is terminal. If I am going to junk it I can give you the side covers. The eye shields are there but are totally yellow and not clear.

I went on the Sears parts website and they actually had some parts for this grinder. I do need a tool rest for the right side. That they didn't have.
