Similar forecast here.  :(

Blizzard warning from tonight thru noon tomorrow.  I'm ready for summer.  Note that I didn't say spring.  Spring to me is half melted, black snow, dead looking trees and grass, mud and slop on the roads.  It's a season I could easily bypass.

We're in the 30s for most of the week, but down to single digits on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Glad the wood pile is still in good shape.

Good luck to you guys out west and northwest.

I use the beard balm on occasion, good stuff.

SK, if it is any consolation, it has been chilly and raining all day in the Sunshine State.  I had to break out a space heater to keep my bare feet warm   :P

You're killing me Rural -- It's only a little over a month into winter season, and I'm already sick of it. Bring on summer --

Funny. I swear to God when I was in Cincinnati Tuesday night with my nuts froze to my leg while smoking a cigarette at a bus stop and saw it was -25 in Fargo I said to myself “Poor Harlan”.

It was -4 with a good steady wind and all I had on was on old pair of flannel pajama pants, so I’m not sure it would have been much different had I been naked. I packed for 2 nights and got stuck for 9, so my garmet selection was pretty limited.

Raining now and will probably get some snow later. They are saying to get across the Sierras now as when the next storm comes in tomorrow the roads can be deep snow and conditions not improving until Wednesday. We are forecast to get anywhere from 14" to 2 feet of snow here at the lower elevation of 5000'. Temps could hit single digit by the time the storm is over. Firewood stocked and snow blower ready to go.

First morning all week that I didn't have to clear snow. We got down to 3 degrees and high will be just above freezing. Have to dig wood out of the pile today and try to dry it out a little before the next snow his tomorrow night. Then there is a chance of snow for 6 of the next 7 days. Ski resorts are very happy with all the snow they got.

Miserable yesterday, started out raining and 44 degrees, wind up to 35 mph and temp dropped all day, started freezing about 2 pm and was 13 this morning.  Garage entrance door frozen to the jamb.  And, last week we had 77 degrees!!!
