Being a Channellock fan I want to try out the mechanism,  but I just can't bring myself to spend my hard earned money on a tool that looks like this.
Call me a stubborn jackass ( I am one ) but they went out of their way to make these look overly futuristic and I just cannot get behind that choice.

Look at Knipex, they simply made a classic pair of " water pump pliers " with a new mechanism.

Channellock could have easily done that, the flag design on the button is a nice touch they could have kept but other than that they shouldn't have gone out of their way to make these look modern.
If they ever decide to do such a thing to their other pliers I will no longer be a customer.

Great score.
I really wish good quality American made drill bits could still be affordable.

I've picked up a couple of their drill bit assortments, to try to fill holes in the Index's I've gotten at auction.   It's a decent assortment of bits for $20 plus shipping.

I picked up a auxiliary handle for my angle grinder from Aliexpress.  Finally used it today while removing some rust from a new to me shop cabinet.    Worked better than the usual side handle they cone with.

Stupid question, because the design looks like you could still use that side handle, if you had to work at an odd angle, WITH that handle on?
Any picture of the finished product?

if you modify it a bit. I don't think the threaded portion of the side  handle are long enough.....
