ESTATE SALE STUFF 9-29-18
« on: September 29, 2018, 09:27:18 PM »
I went to some estate sales today. Here are a few of the things I picked up.
1. Craftsman 4" swivel base vise no. 391.5188. Made in Japan. Not a bad vise.
2. Wilton 5" swivel vise. Med. duty vise. It took me 45 minutes to unbolt this vise. I only had a pipe wrench and a open end wrench. The bolts were bent and the nuts were starting to round out. The bolts were 3" long and fought me all the way.
3. Matco vaccuum / fuel pressure gauge.
4. Small alluminum 2 1/8" vise. I'm not sure , but it could have come off of one of those drill presses that you mount a hand drill in ??
5. Pachmayr magnetic tip gunsmith screwdriver bit set in blue blow molded case. I've alway's wanted a set like this , but have been too cheap too pay full retail.
6. B& D 9421 flex shaft rotary hobby tool . 1/8" collet , 25,000 rpm mounted on wooden swivel base. Runs smooth.

Some nice grabs there. Looks like the vise bug has bit you good.  :))

Got some good stuff there. Not familiar with the bit driver set.

Pachmayr makes pistol grips , some scope mounts , and now tool kits and gunsmith screws. The bits are specially ground to fit firearm screws tight so they don't slip and make scratches.

Slipping and scratching the finish would suck big time.
