Can you get an eye braided in the end before they ship?

I`ve asked them that but if not I can do it myself.
Funny it`s from the same company so either $300 for 50 ft with an eye splice on one end and a little metal crimp on eye fitting, or from  their flea bay site 75 ft of the same stuff  for $160?

Cue the shrug icon.

Starter batteries for winches. Deep cycle are not designed for high current draw.

Check out Amsteel Blue rope. It is cable strong and designed for use in the mining industry (tough stuff!). http://www.amsteelblue.com/amsteel-blue-1-2-synthetic-rope-by-the-foot-30-600-lbs/

This is what we used in our winch challenge Hilux in 3/8" size. It is a great product.

That would probably do the job. But it being an AGM sealed battery means you would have to use a Battery Tender and not a cheap HF maintainer to keep it charged.

We use Interstate SRM-24 deep cycle marine batteries.  About $100 with no core to turn in.  Has dual terminals also, post and also a 5/16 or 3/8 stud
