I had planned on avoiding the vaccine. After developing severe liver issues, from a drug that was on the market for 30+ yrs, that was later taken off the market, because of long term liver issues became apparent after long term usage. I had taken the drug for almost30 yrs, and have developed long term issues. The thought of taking a vaccine, brewed in someone’s bathtub, less than a month ago, is not high on my list.
Over the last 2 months, my wife has had a stomach operation, with 2 further hospital stays (4 days and 10 days), on her last doctor follow up, it appears her cancer from 2-3 yrs ago has returned with a vengeance, it has gone from female related cancer, to effecting her liver, lungs and spine. The doctor advised me in her current condition, COVID could be devastating, and advised that for Her well being, a vaccine, would a very positive move on my part. So I threw caution to the wind, went to Costco’s pharmacy and got the J&J shot. My left arm and shoulder is still sore.
