Virtually positive all Marxs trains were O27. The biggest difference is that O27 trains can turn a tighter radius than O meaning easier to fit a layout in a smaller space.
Also, either gauge O or O27 3 rail trains will run on the same track, but on an O27 simple oval layout you really have to dial back the speed on an O locomotive to take it through the curves or it will jump the track.
If O gage is the future, then I have been leading the charge for decades! LOL

Would you know the difference(s) between O & O-27? I have an old Marx set from the early to mid 60's. I haven't looked at it in ages but I believe it has 3 rails.
After 1935, Marx trains were 0-27. Prior to that, they were O gauge.

I believe we referred to it as a log-log-duplex-decatrig type. I held onto that one (I believe it was a K&E) and a simpler version for a long time. Eventually I passed them on to my son who graduated college with a Math degree.

They seem quite nice , and that 1/4 female in the butt of the handle could be a useful feature if it doesn't become distorted from frequently beating on them hard.
Mayhew doesn't seem to have them yet if at all, so I'm wondering if these 2 drivers are actually made by them ?
I'm pretty sure the bits...etc on the current 6 in 1 model 61N are made by Enderes with the previous model 61A having been made by WILDE and not P-R like the rest of the Screwdrivers were, so it wouldn't surprise me if these also have a different OEM than the others which could be WILDE.
I stopped at the 61N because I haven't liked Trilobe handles before and this handle didn't change that, so I probably won't be buying these but I do like the idea of them.
I don't think I've ever needed demo drivers anyways.

« Last post by oldcarguy on Today at 06:00:13 PM »I purchased this remote temperature gage from the Amish folks that I purchased the cooler unit. It was $20.00 including shipping. Reads both the freezer and main box along with the coaches interior temperatures..
While I was at it I purchased one for my smaller motor home.. The freezer section running 12 degrees so I lowered the setting... See if it will go down to 6 degrees..

Since I have never been anything but a hobbyist, the difference in cost could not be justified for me. Beautiful pliers though.

Most of my drawing I used 6H, 3H, and 2H,, very seldom H as it smears over the velum. There a two K&E rotary lead sharpeners with refill abrasive cups, newer style K&E and Teledyne electric erasers along with two boxes of eraser refills, eraser dust brush, eraser shield, Post emery lead sharpener for compasses, standard erasers, All good stuff..
