Mandy asked me today what my opinion in getting the shots. I see both sides of the fence. I'm not a conspiracy nut but something that the government (or anyone ) tells me I SHOULD do, over and over again the more I become leary of it and less likely to do it.

But I also know the power of vaccines and that they do keep you healthy/save lives.

My biggest concern is the stories of heart issues after the shots. As someone with tachycardia, and a family history of heart issues I'm scared of side affects that may never even happen.

Like Mandy said we are a generation that when we popped out of the womb we were vacced for alot of things. Thanks to that we are none the wiser to serious viruses and illnesses that would take lives years ago.

Got my Johnson and Johnson shot Thursday

Question to those who choose not to get vaccinated,

If the vaccine proves effective and safe over time, and covid is still an issue a year or down the road for the unvaccinated, will you get the shot?

I had planned on avoiding the vaccine. After developing severe liver issues, from a drug that was on the market for 30+ yrs, that was later taken off the market, because of long term liver issues became apparent after long term usage. I had taken the drug for almost30 yrs, and have developed long term issues. The thought of taking a vaccine, brewed in someone’s bathtub, less than a month ago, is not high on my list.

Over the last 2 months, my wife has had a stomach operation, with 2 further hospital stays (4 days and 10 days), on her last doctor follow up, it appears her cancer from 2-3 yrs ago has returned with a vengeance, it has gone from female related cancer, to effecting her liver, lungs and spine. The doctor advised me in her current condition, COVID could be devastating, and advised that for Her well being, a vaccine, would a very positive move on my part. So I threw caution to the wind, went to Costco’s pharmacy and got the J&J shot. My left arm and shoulder is still sore.

I feel exactly the same way.  I have been everywhere since this thing started fifteen months ago, meaning I've been out and traveling everyday, numerous stores, restaurants, etc.  Seems like if I was going to get it, I would've gotten it by now, or maybe I have and didn't know it.

Biden especially, and the rest of these politicians constantly lie.  So the more I hear them telling us to get vaccinated, the less I want to.  I'm not anti-vaccine or anything like that, but when I hear what some people experience from the vaccine, that concerns me.  I have heart issues too, and that's concerning.  Overall, I'm still on the fence.

Got my Johnson and Johnson shot Thursday

Question to those who choose not to get vaccinated,

If the vaccine proves effective and safe over time, and covid is still an issue a year or down the road for the unvaccinated, will you get the shot?

If I knew there would be absolutely no side effects, I wouldn't hesitate.

Why the J & J shot?  That's the one I'd pass on for sure.

Why J&J?

One and done

Believe that the j&j is more like a more traditional vaccine than the other 2

Didn't want the side effects on the 2nd shot.

Heard good and bad about all of them

Sorry to hear that Jack. I hope things get better for you and your wife.
I got vaccinated because the specialist I'm seeing told me if I got Covid that I would be dead end of story. I got the first shot 3 months ago and the 2nd shot 2 months ago of Moderna and as far as I can tell I have had zero side effects other than a slightly sore spot where I got the shot for 1 day after each one.

It is totally a personal choice on whether to get it or not and I don't fault anybody for their decision.

I will say one more thing, just cuz I CAN.

Call me paranoid,  :)) (and feel free to) but who's to say that the "elites" aren't getting certain ingredients in one jab, and we the peons are getting something else?  :017:

I have a real problem with big conspiracies.  Everyone in the know has to keep their mouth's shut and that ain't likely because someone always feels they are getting screwed, or get a conscience and would spill the beans.  Just not likely.

Covid is a world wide problem with governments of all flavors inoculating their people.  Just don't see how that could work in if the threat isn't real.

don't get me wrong, this pandemic has been politicized for sure, the Dems are great at that, but with the numbers dropping post vaccine as quick as they are, its hard to believe the vaccine isn't working.

Now, may there be long term side effects?  TIme will tell

Phil, I don't think anyone is arguing the vaccine isn't effective.  The question is, what else are you getting with it?

As for conspiracies, I wouldn't necessarily use that word.  Look at how the media ridiculed Trump and his administration whenever anyone countered the "Covid came from a wet market" theory by suggesting it was engineered in the Wuhan lab.  I always thought this thing was engineered and fairly solid proof of that was emailed to Fauci in January 2020 when the doctor who corresponded with him mentioned the genome sequencing of Covid was almost impossible to have developed naturally.  Fauci sat on that information and kept going along with the wet market theory.

The best part is how the media tried to cover themselves for not exploring the virus being engineered by blaming Trump..."oh yeah, because his administration lied about everything how could we take anything they said seriously?"

The more time that passes the more incriminating facts appear. Fauci's emails are just the latest. With the libtards in charge you can't be sure of anything except the march toward globalism is in full swing. The mere talk of making a non-FDA approved "vaccine" mandatory shows their hand. Which is why the jab makers are pushing HARD for full approval - while maintaining their immunity from prosecution. And I'm willing to bet kamalas FDA will eventually approve it.

Conspiracy theories? They'll always be those. The fact that all social media and lamestream media quickly squelches any discussion of Covid conspiracy's is the best evidence that there is something there. Freedom of speech is a foundation of our way of life...unless the elites determine it isn't. If mainstream shouts it from the rooftops chances are good it's a lie. Everything they beat down or ban is probably true or mostly true. Climate change, 2020 election fraud, january 6th "insurrection", the vaccine, inflation - once you have your BS meter on-line you can tell the truth based on what these lib idiots say.

Had my second Pfizer shot in April and the only side effect has been the urge to buy Bonney wrenches.

I had to go to the local Health Dept today for a tetanus booster, been 10 yrs since the last one. Two TVs running a continual "take the vaccine" and "the vaccine is safe" After 20 minutes I was almost convinced.
