Still working on it , I`m pretty sure it`s a Rivitt 1020s Or it could be a 1020f I`m not sure

It looks to be in good shape I cannot feel any ridge on the ways . It`s filthy from sitting in a old warehouse.
The guy that has it I`ve know and liked for years , he says it works .
It comes with loads of tooling which is good, granted I`ve got a ton of clean up/ restoring work to do on it.
Fantastic quality lathe in 1950 they were priced at $50,000 so only the gov bought them.
If we can work out a reasonable price and it passes a closer inspection I`ll be bringing it home on the proviso that nothing major is wrong with it.
The plan would be to get it home in the shop where I can see it in the light and clean it up and lube the mechanisms and check all the electronics and drive belts.
Then I`d bring the owner over and have him turn it on so we can both check it out.
If it`s all good it`s mine if not I`ll take it back.
