Title: My new Daisy
Post by: john k on May 19, 2021, 09:49:59 PM
Was in a junk shop, saw a pair of air rifles.  One was definitely over the hill, but this Daisy cocked and seemed to fire.   Appearance could be improved, will get to that, replace  the nails with screws.  Havent had a Daisy since 1961 when our house burned.

"Careful, don't shoot your eye out " ....LMAO   That always follows the statement, I want or got a Daisy .

Ever notice that the older we get, the more of the stuff from our youth we buy?  I'd hate to say how many Nichols & Mattel cap guns I've bought in the last few years.  Enjoy the Daisy!

I know daisy introduced the current plastic loading gate sometime in the 70's.
This one is definitely an older model for sure,  it's gotta be pre 1960's.

I'm going to make an educated guess and say this is a no.102 model 36 probably 30's-50's, and will have a Plymouth Michigan adress.
If it's Roger's Arkansas that'll make it later.
