I love clearance items at TSC

I stopped at Tractor Supply yesterday to get some tiedowns as a gift for our EAA Christmas party. They wanted $20 for a 4-pack of ratchet straps. I said forget it and grabbed a Schumacher battery maintainer good for all battery types that was $5 off and $20. On the way to the register I walked through the abundant clearance aisles and found a bonus pack of 6 tiedowns on clearance for $10. At the checkout the straps rang up at $5 so I ran back to the rack and grabbed the 2 remaining packs. I got 18 straps for 3/4 of the price of the 4-pack. As for the battery maintainer I needed another one for the forklift.

I need to get a petition started for TSC to build a store closer to me.

I am shocked you don't have one close Tim, your area would seem to be the target demographic.  They seem to thrive in small town America that has a good farming base.

I have a TSC close, never seem to have deals like that though. I mainly by cat food and glyphosate there.

When I say close I mean under 30 minutes. We have one south of us, and one north both about 30-40 minutes away.

I'd like to get one in by Cabela and it would only be 5 minutes at the most.

There's a Lowe's right by it. I doubt a TSC is going to make it in.

There are a lot of TSC's around here. They seem more geared toward hobby farms and dog owners. They have a lot of hardware and universal farm parts , but not as much as they used to. I do check out the clearance items when I go in there.

I only know where one is and have only been in the place once, they had lots of stuff on clearance but it was all junk.
Things like real tree camoflauge tool sets ( in both regular and pink ) , cheap flashlights....ect.
Honestly it was nowhere near as good of a store as the OSH down the street.
I love OSH.

We only had feed stores and building supplies and an Ace here in the valley. The closest farm and ranch store was nearly 2 hours away. Then Cal-Ranch opened in Carson City followed by TSC and finally a TSC here in town.
I used to go to Orchard Supply Hardware in Burbank CA all the time and liked the store. But I think Sears owns OSH and I heard they will be closing them.

Sears sold OSH to Lowes and Lowes closed the chain. The one in Burbank I believe is closed and emptied.

That shopping center must be hurting with both Toys'R'Us and OSH gone. Is Lancers restaurant still there?

You've got an excellent memory.

Last time I was by there Lancers was still there (good place by the way). You are right the place must be pretty empty. On the other hand probably pretty easy to park there.
