Couple service calls, now I'm home with AC cranked. Want to go out to shop and work on Mustang but no AC in there.

Stuck in the house, temps outside are 107-109 the past couple of days. Can't even work in the shop. Even with the little AC it's just too dang hot out there.

Rarely do temps reach 105 once the monsoon starts in earnest - this year it's been quite dry and thus sizzling. Can't even visit pawn shops for tools - no AC in the Toyota makes for a roasting drive. And then there's the dreaded seat belt sweat!

Bruce's real feet.

With some eye bleach to clean up after
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Dam Jabber, I can’t unsee those feet.
MAGA

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

I am back to working in water and waste water plants (wear it all started for me). I love it and since the company I work for is on the smaller side the safety feels more like a culture and not a religion. Its nice being able to boot a guy out that's an unsafe idiot and not making everyone else pay for some other dummy.

I understand hard hats, gloves, glasses, and safety toe but some of the safety stuff is crazy. Go to work in a petrol/chem plant, they dont mind if a group of guys sit and do nothing if some college grad who graduated 2 days ago deemed it "unsafe" but will not help to resolve the situation.

I fixed a Canon camera that had a stuck shutter. It is my trusty old Canon 60D that I bought new in 2011. The internet sent me down a few rabbit holes until I found a simple fix that worked.

You beat me to restoring this thread...  Cool beans

I sold a bag of old tools at work in two hits.  A dozen 50 year old screwdrivers and a toothless rusty hacksaw.  Less crap at home to never use.

The wife decided that I had put off reflooring the laundry room long enough. We redid the kitchen floor back before Easter. Now she's wanting the laundry room to match the kitchen. ::)  I told her I thought I had till next Easter to get the flooring done..... We all know who lost that argument. :(

Good to see you back Strik.

We treated our son and others to a nice dinner at a steakhouse last night, so today is a lazy day. When I woke up from an afternoon nap, I saw my cat, Skinny Minnie had the same idea !
