Mystery MC seat
« on: March 09, 2020, 05:16:58 PM »
I was out at my sister's old property helping to clear out the barn. I found what appears to be a brand new seat for a motorcycle. I have no idea what model bike it would go to as the only motorcycle in the barn is the Ural. I am hoping the GG braintrust can help me out.

The seat is 27" long, 5" high, 12" at the widest point, 7" wide at the nose and 10" wide at the rear. There is a sticker on the bottom that says 134.40 but I don't know if that is a price tag or part number. Any ideas?

So it appears to hinge on the rear and lock in the front?

It looks like a Suzuki water buffulo seat, but I am not sure about that front seam. That might change year by year.

Thanks OnS and I feel like an idiot for not doing a search for Ural seats. Having said that the Ural in the barn is the military style and it has a single seat and I don't see how the other seat would fit. Maybe it came with the bike when he bought it. The bike has the gun mount on the front of the sidecar but I haven't found the gun that would go with it. ::)
