It is on domestic soil now,  just arrived in Memphis last night.

Just about heard 'em all and Charley here has my favorite version.

I've always like that song and he did a good cover of it. I've listened to a few more of his songs too. very unique sound. I like it.
I've got 4 of Charley Crocketts album, great singer.
He's actually a direct descendant of  Davy Crockett which is cool.

He has a good deal of Hank Williams covers, and of early George Jones songs.
His originals are great as well.
Heres my favorite original of his, and my favorite cover ( a Buck Owens classic)

The classic country he does is excellent,  but he's also considered very approachable by non country fans because he also crosses over a bit Into rockabilly soul and blues with some of his work.
