Another drill press
« on: December 15, 2022, 08:36:10 PM »
Have a big bench drill press set up in another building, so I wanted a small unit on my work bench.  Found this at auction, asian for sure, little use, chuck key attached.  Belt shield bent up, runs ok, for $27 think it will do okay.

$27? I'd say you stole it - legally, of course.  :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

Some assembly required.  Still quite the bargain. :bravo_2:

The motor is dismounted so I could get the tin shield straightened.   Need to rig a light.   Same auction, a hand crank drill press went for lots more, without the drill table, and the wall mount brackets messed up, at least it wasn't rusty.   Didn't bid because there are 2 in my shop already,  in a separate lot, same sale,  bought a coffee can full of the bits for a hand crank drill.

Is that an old Enco drill? I have pops which looks a lot like that one in the storage locker with the rest of his stuff. I had zero need for it but it was like new, I bet he never used it 100 times and I just could not leave it behind. Looks like you made a great buy!
You boys better hold on cause I'm gonna have to stand on it!
