Giving some more screwdrivers a try
« on: May 05, 2023, 01:13:31 PM »
I just got an Email from KC Tools and saw these Heyco screwdrivers on sale for $30 which I just couldn't pass up.

What's not to like ?
A beautiful translucent emerald green, quad lobed profile, some very ergonomic looking contours.

A quick product search turned up the 2 stubbies for about $8 each and I was sold.

These look like some pretty decent quality screwdrivers that I just can't wait to try out.

Those screwdrivers look so good i would be afraid to use them. Those remind me of green Jolly Rancher hard candy.

If they weren't so affordable I might be as well.

If the handle sizes are appropriate I could see them becoming my new favorites.

Love the color and kind of remind me of the old acetate green and white SK screwdrivers, in color.    The shape, well I would have to feel, but they look to me that they might be a bit slick, especially with any fluid on the hands.
But the price, well if I hadn't bought those Tekton screwdrivers, I probably would have bought a set.

Those look like some nice units. I checked out the KC site and that is quite the bargain compared to regular price. The drawback becomes shipping at over ten dollars adding to the cost making them $40 or so dollars before tax. Still not a bad deal for $6 per piece.

That's another reason why I added the 2 stubbies to make up for some of the shipping cost.

They shipped them ASAP too which is great.

I just received them, and they are very nicely made.

The handles are on the smaller side like the classic Craftsman acetate handles, but the shape seems to work out better.

The blades are properly lined up with the handles too.

The stubby drivers are awesome.

I wouldn't care if he was, because he'd probably kill me with something cool.
Probably conk me out with a William's 1" drive ratchet or something.

No worries, I don't kill my customers, just their wallets

Note, I do have a nice P&C 1" ratchet along with a NOS Armstrong but the weapon of coolness would be the Cman prototype 3/4 inch drive  ratchet :))
