Welcome Lou.  The pic of the 30s sedan on the assembly line has me stumped.  The slotted wheel, and the hubcap just doesnt ring a bell.  European maybe?

I could sit and listen to you guys tell stories of the old days for hours.

You guys make me wonder.... What are common things today that when my kids are my age will be a by gone era item. Obviously early none smart phone cellphones and CD and DVDs are some.

Pretty cool that "Boogie Woogie" roadster. I noticed that main street isn't paved, but sidewalks are raised hardtop. It must have been a dust bowl during peak traffic hours. That rod was probably scaring horses and old folks all over town --- LOL

Wonder what is going on with that vertical car.  I assume some sort of test recording instruments are being installed

It almost looks like they put a central grease system on it. all the tubes seem to go to greaseable joints in the front suspension.

That verticle car, definitely an auto oiling system, like the Bijur system offered on luxury cars of the 30s.  I cant really ID  the car.  Front half looks like 1955 Lincoln,  side trim is custom?   Steering linkage looks rather Ford.   The shop looks factory ish, but no tool box, work bench.  Huge windows  look rather factory like.  That little car reminds me of a Borg-Ward.

LOL
I had a 1959 'Borg-Ward' (fast wagon, I think) in college, like the one pictured below.

I blame that little car for starting me out on my many adventures and mis-adventures with cars.

In one long college summer, to resurrect it from my parents garage/tomb, it eventually needed:
-cracked exhaust manifold welded
-head gasket replaced
-seat covers restitched, leather
-brake system rebuild including brakes relined, new were NA
-IRS replaced
-gas tank strap replaced

I was working 2 jobs at the time, but when it finally rolled/drove out of the garage and down the street on it's own power, I felt like Louis Chevrolet.

I think the vertical car is a 55 Lincoln.

The car in the foreground I think is a 49 Hudson judging from the front but if the next pic is the same car then no idea the quarter panel looks kinda early 50's GM.
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

That last picture with the two guys sitting in picture reminded me of the old salvage yard in Warrensburg Missouri where I went to college in the 1980's. The yard, long gone years ago was a very old salvage yard with a garage/shop that looked 1930-1940. There were tons of NOS parts on shelves well organized in the back of the shop. Behind the counter was a big old wood stove and a few old ratty chairs and stools strewn around the stove. I liked stopping there in the cold fall and winter months to just sit around that wood stove and jaw with the owner and his son who on the cold days would usually be found not far from that stove if there were  no customers. I always felt like I was stepping back in time every time I walked into that shop, but especially during the winter when I was setting around that old wood burning stove.
You boys better hold on cause I'm gonna have to stand on it!

Muddy, are those golf carts in the second picture?

They look like the love child of a WWII jeep and a Kublewagon.
