iron junk for my lady
« on: October 14, 2018, 09:59:16 AM »
What to do with a rustball hand forged single tree eye when the horses that used it are long dead?

I picked it long ago as I knew it would be a great gift for my wife.  She loves brown iron decor accents and her kitchen.

A added hand made horse shoe and a tad of welding.....  its a napkin holder.  I did not make the other.  I traded it for a pile of bike parts.

Pretty clever. How did she like it?
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

Thanks guys.  I had a brainfart last eve on how to use two worthless chunks of iron to make one worth at least a smile.

The lady now likes my former near eternal rust pile a bit better.  Those were in a pile of might be cool or useful things for months and I was told to get rid of some of it.   So I did.   I gave it to her!

Neat work Brian. My father made a boot rack out of horse shoes for my niece.
