Will show the best part of my shop/garage in the attached photos.  Will show more later, has a large semi-clean work room and an additional three bays for a total of about 3000 square feet.  Here is the best part.
WHAT? No urinal?

You allow women here?

Mans got to take a dump somewhere, plus why buy and install a urinal when you can just step outside.  :))

Been there -- done that! I worked out of a 1 car townhouse garage for almost seven years and it was a similar issue. When an extended project came along, the garage needed to be cleared into the driveway, and only then could the work begin.

I am at that point right now as well.  Too much stuff and not enough garage.

Maybe sell that Suburban or at least move it to the driveway?

We are working on the front end and a trans overhaul on the particular Suburban. Putting new ball joints in and it got a new caliper and new brake hoses. The other suburban is already out there along with a cavalier, and My black Buick. The city gets kinda adversarial with not running untagged vehicles sitting in the driveway so I try to keep things moving.

Cars as money pits ......?....... I guess for some, the rest of us cannot wipe the smile off our silly faces. It is not a hobby for everyone I can tell you that. The hobby requires lots of common sense and the ability to solve problems.

A check book car builder would feel like they are a money pit, and I get that.

Bolts right on is an industry inside joke .......

Got plenty of money pits sitting around here.  Living way in the country without neighbors that could complain has its good points.   In fact don't know how some of you manage with an urban garage.  I have more issues with wind and weather than regulations, neighbors, and snoopy kids..  HOA?   Couldn't believe when I first heard about one of those.

In most Florida cities/towns vehicles without a current plate can be hauled away after notification.  Here in the Missouri Ozarks there are no zoning rules in the counties so storing outside without a plate is no problem.  Also to blow your mind, building permits are free, no impact fees, no perk tests on 3 to 10 acres or more and no inspections in the counties (do them yourself or have it done, or don't do it at all if you want to live dangerously.  Many reasons to get the hell out of Florida and I did after living there 59 years.

And CCRs run a close second to HOAs as they can still limit your ability to do as you please on your property. Being zoned rural agriculture has great benefits as the county really only controls building permits and such.
