Fats you spoke too soon, I`ve emailed the guy twice to see if it works and once to confirm our arvo appointment to purchase.
No reply... I guess the saga continues.

And once again my faith in online sellers falls to the shitter.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

But you got his number? Sometimes that's the only way they respond.   :(

I had an experience with a CL seller trying to buy a three tier Snap On cart for $30.  It was only through email and he was very sporadic even though I told him i could pick it up on his schedule.  Eventually the ad disappeared but even before that I knew I'd never get it.

Hardest I've ever had to work. Nice guy but a crap communicator.
It`s got a fluro tube inside that does not work. One day I`ll fix it and interrupt the light circuit with an on off switch.

I bought a Castrol oil lighted clock about a year ago. The clock nor the light worked so I got it cheap. I oiled the clock, replaced the ballast and bulb and that put it back in working order. Yours might be a ballast or bulb, or both. By the time it was all said and done I think I had about $50 in mine.

Glad to hear it came together.   Still a little miffed about the missed sale of the Olds Toronado in Denver.   I have a 15 inch round clock in the shop,  got it at a junk shop.   Think it was $15,  battery,  Perfect Circle Piston rings.
