Virginia

I just wanted to find out what our Virginia members think of the new Governor and AG. It sounds like Youngkin is implementing his campaign promises in regards to many things such as taxes, schools and parental rights.
What say you?

Yes he is, and most of the state's counties are very glad he's now in charge. That said, some ultra liberal and swamp connected northern Virginia counties and cities have openly defied his executive orders. AFAIK he's given them until Feb. 8th to comply, otherwise he'll use the power of the purse to make them comply. That said, it's a given that as soon as he turns up the heat on these counties and cities, they'll immediately turn it around and make it a racial or anti-immigrant talking point to gin up their zombie constituents.

I imagine it's going to be like in Florida.  Libs can't stand DeSantis and are always grousing about him.  Some Democrat idiot who is running for governor actually played the Hitler card.  How desperate can you get?!

The new Gov has already fired the controversial parole board and the AG has called for an investigation of the previous board's actions as well as one on the Loudoun County School Board.

No hope for WA unless they elect a Conservative Governor which is unlikely. We hope to get a good one here in NV come November.
