Wow! Was Blackhawk making all Snap-ons boxes back then? Wasn't aware they were with CAT  all the way back then.

I doubt that, I believe it was re-badged. I think Blackhawk is as old, or possibly even older. (That is just a guess) But BH definitely goes way way back. I think Alloy Artifacts would show when both companies started.

Are you referring to the box? The way I took what Snapmom said is that the box is Black Hawk. So I was wondering if all the early Snap-On boxes were made by black hawk. Or perhaps the box is Blackhawk and the tool kit that went on the box was made for CAT.

As to Snap-On and CAT.... they are still working together to this day. CAT tools are made by Snap-On.

years ago the local school district ran K-5 with English as second language option for every course. Recently I found out they offer ESL classes for K-12.

I've seen pictures of that same Blackhawk box, somebody here has one but I don't remember who.
They're quite a cool box, congrats on scoring it.
