I was at HD buying some sanding disks and found this Ryobi work light for $30.

After some testing I'm not particularly impressed with it.
280 lumens is adequate and a max 22hour runtime is good, but the led and beam quality aren't great and i think I'd rather have more flood than spot.
I was expecting more of a work light not an oversized flashlight that falls short of even the AAA flashlight in my pocket.
Maybe in time It'll prove to be just fine, but I have so many good quality flashlights and this just doesn't compare to them.

Found this great bore brush set on Amazon for $20. Steel, Brass, and Plastic brushes make cleaning caliper slide bolt bores a breeze to service. My old set was pretty worn out and many pieces were already discarded over the years.

The wife's Traverse needs new brakes and this will do just fine.

PS  -- I have no idea why the pic is rotated. The original image is correct, but the uploaded image posts as rotated --- weird!!

I went to HF after work today and bought the USG 15"  end cabinet which I wanted to mount onto the side of my 5 drawer cart.

I wanted the orange one but they only had black and I don't go there very often so I just bought the black one.

If you were okay with it sticking out the front you'd only need to cut one notch for the front corner of the lid, but since I wanted the front even it required a notch at the very front corner and I had to cut off a section of the lip in back to clear the lid ( not necessary if you removed then reattached the lid )

I also took the stupid plastic latches out be they're very hard to operate and make the drawers extremely difficult to open, thankfully they just pop right out.

Upgraded my stool for working in the basement/garage.  Also picked up a set of picks. I like the handle on these. As they are bigger than the normal size hook and picks like these Craftsman.

Thursday found me digging thru a tub of wrenches, used ones, in a store.  Not found much worth taking home lately.  First is a PLVMB double box end, 3/4 and 11/16 , very rthick, 9 inches, 1940s or early 50s.  Next, a Snap-On OEX-18, 9/16 combo, usa 9 , chrome but old.   A 6-inch Crescent  CRESTOLOY in very nice condition.   Then we have an odd little wrench, Snapz-On 1/2 and 7-16, 2 sockets, 12 point, attached to a round bar, about 5.5 inches long, the back of the sockets are plain,  no drive holes.  There is more.  A Snap-On 13/16 spark plug socket.  Pristine,, xs97048, box wear only.  It was attached to a SnapOn  3/8 drive extension plain steel  f-6E.  How about a Thorsen  1/2 dr. 10 inch extensiion.  Fits perfectly with my uncirculated Thorsen set.   Craftsman 1/2 dr ratchet, with the push thu square drive, which is missing, and does not look its age.   Walden Worcester 1/2 in. Ratchet, reverse lever, works nice.  Now 2 oddities, Walden Worcerster  drag  link adjuster sockets,  1130 and a 1129, in 1/2 in. Drive.  How is this, snapon 3/8 to 1/2 adaptor, plain steel. 7-2  6.  Lastly a PLVMB 1/2 inch roll head bar/breaker bar, plain steel, PLVMB  cast into the handle.  Couple of hand saws, a ball peen hammer, and all found at Habitat Restore.   No pics cause I cant make them small enough on here.
