Yet rap singers can spout that crap every other word and no-one cares. So I guess not all actions have consequences.
im playing devils advocate here but.........
Those rappers are black. So they can use it , but us white ppl cant cause its racist.
This reminds of an Incident from when I was about 14.
For a while we lived in a pretty ghetto mostly black neighborhood In this crappy rundown appartment complex, and one day I was having an exchange of words with this kid when he decided to tell people I called him the N word.
All his friends went along with it and from then on all the neighbors turned against me and I was branded a racist even at school.
hmmm my nephew just turned 13 but last year he got into a fight with a neighbor who hes friendly with whos bla ck in a mostly white neighborhood well anyways black kid called him stupid so my nephew said "well your just a n gger" he went screaming to his parents who have stopped them from playing together. Whilst my sister and brotherinlaw had to school my nephew on why not to use that word. Kinda pointless as my bil is a big user of that word he works in toledo and its always n Did this a n did that he really has no filter even around kids...
My grandmother doesn't have much filter either.
Once as a kid I was showing her my new slingshot and she said " that's not a slingshot, that's a ...... shooter ".
As a kid I had no clue what the word meant, all I knew was that the word was everywhere but I was white so I was not allowed to say it.
I remember one day when some black kid called my older brother a cracker and everyone laughed.
I laughed because he got all bent out of shape over it and I thought it was funny that he cared, but I realize now why he was upset.
Being called a cracker meant nothing to him or me and still doesn't, but he was upset because he noticed the double standard.
They can call us whatever they want no big deal, but if one of us was to use the N word it would about be the worst thing ever.
