Titan 1/4" bit offset driver?

Saw this in O'Reillys parts this morning, then found it on-line. Kinda looks like a "breaker bar" for 1/4" bits, but the 90 deg end seems a bit thin.
If you have a bit ratchet why would you need an offset screwdriver for the bits? Am I missing something?

Not really sure, but this kinda thing has been available in higher end type bycicle tool kits for a while.

I don't think the thinness will come into play.  You can only put so much torque on a screw before the fastener cams out.
