Just finished the stuffing, and everything is well on its way for a great dinner this evening. Time for a break and a cigar. This is a very popular ultra-premium cigar. Padron 1926 40th Anniversary in a firm box-pressed size Torpedo. It's a heavy body smoke with aged tobacco and a sweet nuanced wood/earth flavor profile. I know that these are considered pretty high on the flavor scale among many cigar smokers, but for my palate they just don't register very highly. Padron and I just don't mesh very well. It's a good cigar, but not over the top in my view -- sacrilege I know!
Happy Thanksgiving!
