You wont find a pipe cradle nor ashtray anywhere in my house or garages. In fact all the manufacturing plants I was in charge of were all smoke free... I never promote any smoking habit and never indulged myself. Heck I gave out Bubble-Gum Cigars when each of my children were born..

A 30-year-old smoker can expect to live about 35 more years. Whereas a 30-year-old non-smoker can expect to live 53 more years. That's from reliable studies. But that's an average. Winston Churchill lived to 90 and smoked cigars most all his waking hours. Then again I lost two bosses from lung cancer before they reached 57 years old.

No alcoholic bar either. In fact you wont find any drink stronger the sparkling grape juice in my house. No there no religious reason behind my absences of drinking and smoking. Simply followed in my parents footsteps...

I spent months traveling in and around both Australia and New Zealand over the past five years. Communicating with the common folks and their feelings about being invaded with refugees and overzealous treatment to the Indigenous. The present liberal government and one-side news media has been overstating their ill-conceived beliefs. I feel a storm brewing in those two countries, much like in the Untied States..

Wonder who the target audience is?  Doubt the illegal immigrants will ever see it, at least not before they are caught.

I assume illegal immigration is a problem for all 1st world countries

I do wish that congress would reform immigration laws, especially for seasonal workers.  The present quota system lottery doesn't allow enough seasonal workers to enter and companies hire illegals to fill the spots.  Better to know who is here and collect some tax then send them home till next year.

I also wonder if the attitude towards illegals is shared by the Australian government in general and by the citizens

I suspect that for the most part yes. If a new site is developed quickly enough perhaps content could be copied then pasted into the new site unless I a wrong. If I am right, very labor intense for sure.

More important is maintaining email addresses and means of contacting members.

10 ft of 3/4 rigid conduit last summer when i bid job, 26 bucks, today 40 bucks. 500 ft spool #12 thhn wire, 70 bucks last summer, 100 bucks now, etc etc.

I doubt these prices ever go back down. Too many people still buying.

At work, we buy chemicals by the ton. Every year we go out for bid on 200tons per year. We usually have 2-3 bidders for each commodity. This past year we got no bids at all. No one wants to commit to a price that they may not be able to meet next month. interesting times.

I've been spotting Orioles for the past two weeks. Here's a male enjoying some Welch's Concord Grape Jelly. They feast on Jelly and oranges for about a four to six weeks in our area. Then their diet changes to higher protein to service their young...  The little yellow fella on the feeder to the left is a Yellow House Finch

They are very skittish and hard to photograph. I caught him in med-flight...

I catch Bluejays several times a week. They are territorial and and show up alone...
